Two Air Separation Units Built for Ming Chemical Group Started Production 



In 2021, Yingde Gases and Shandong Jinmei Mingshui Chemical Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Ming Chemical Group) formed a strategic partnership whereby Yingde Gases agreed to build two air separation units for Ming Chemical Group. Following more than one year of design and construction, production at the two air separation units kicked into gear on December 23, 2022, and February 10, 2023, boasting a respective capacity of 45,000 Nm³/h and 30,000 Nm³/h, successfully fulfilled the gas supply target to assist Ming Chemical Group in their technological transformation project.  

During the installation and commissioning phase of the two air separation units, Yingde Gases' project team anticipated a number of risks and potential impacts – from pandemic-related issues and the Chinese New Year holiday, among others – and drew up a plan of action accordingly. As installation of the first set of air separation unit neared completion, the sequential build-out of the second set was put into motion, shortening project turnaround time significantly while providing an adequate safeguard for output and supply guarantees. 

The equipment installation project was carried out by Yingde Engineering, one of Yingde Gases Group's core business units. Yingde Engineering has successfully designed, manufactured and built more than 50 air separation units with capacity over 300,000 Nm³/h for metal and chemical clients. Yingde Engineering provides a full range of design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, engineering management and project consultation services, delivering air separation, cryogenic, green hydrogen, and coal water slurry gasification units to clients in a variety of industries, as well as in-house air / gas supply projects funded by Yingde Gases.
