Yingde Gases’ First Air Separation Plant in India Commences Operations Successfully

Recently, NovaAir, a subsidiary of PAG’s Yingde, held a launching ceremony for the newly-completed air-separation plant. Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Jagan Mohan Reddy and NovaAir General Manager Gajanan Nabar were present at the ceremony.

As Yingde Gases’ first project in India, this event marks a milestone in the international strategy journey of Yingde Gases and the rapid development of its subsidiary NovaAir.

The plant, which has a daily production capacity of 220 tones of liquid oxygen and a storage capacity of 1,000 tons of oxygen products, is currently being commissioned and will commence production operations soon.

During the construction process of the project, Yingde Gases’ domestic engineering and technical team provided remote video call guidance on the construction, commissioning and other related tasks of the project. Not only did the team overcome pandemic-related pressures to ensure the project progressed as scheduled, they also created a successful model that is safe, efficient, feasible and replicable for the construction, commissioning, operational commencement, stable operations and maintenance of overseas projects in the future.

Gajanan Nabar said, “We have extensive experience in gas production and are committed to promoting regional industrialization with advanced technology. We hope to create an efficient and win-win industrial ecosystem with our partners through upholding high standards of safety, reliability and quality management."
