Yingde Gases Commissions Large-Scale Intelligent Air Separation Unit for Jinchuan Group


On September 22, Yingde Gases successfully commenced oxygen supply from its new 50,000 Nm³/h air separation unit (with a peak oxygen output of 63,000 Nm³/h) to Jinchuan Group Co., Ltd. The unit will support Jinchuan's capacity expansion for copper and nickel products at its main production base. Integrated with a new-generation intelligent control system, it enhances operational reliability while significantly improving energy efficiency and production performance.

Developed by Yingde Engineering - a subsidiary of Yingde Gases , this project provides Jinchuan Nickel Cobalt's production expansion with high-quality industrial gases (e.g., oxygen, nitrogen), rare gases (krypton, xenon, neon, helium), and liquid products (liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon), meeting both internal and regional market demand.

For this project, Yingde Engineering implemented advanced process flows and extensive proprietary technologies in the equipment and piping design. This achieved a significant reduction in energy consumption versus traditional air separation, while also enhancing reliability and enabling more refined production for the customer. Furthermore, the project successfully implemented advanced control technologies such as Yingde Gases' self-developed "One-Key Start 3.0" system, enabling fully automated operation of the air separation unit without manual intervention. This achieved breakthroughs in improving system energy efficiency and reliability, reducing energy consumption, failure rates, operational errors, and staff requirement—providing Jinchuan Group with intelligent, efficient, and stable gas supply support.
